On October 22, the China-Thailand Cultural and Sports Investment Exchange Reception, hosted by Datang Lingyu Holdings, undertaken by Western Golden Investment and Shaanxi Jinfu Law Firm, and co-organized by International Venture Capital Chang'an Express, Western Investment Promotion Network, Thailand MAX International Events and ISKA Kickboxing International Federation, was grandly held in Xi'an. More than a hundred guests from all walks of life gathered in the ancient city. Taking culture and sports as the bond, investment as the bridge, and the reception as the platform, they renewed the profound friendship of "China and Thailand, one family", explored new opportunities for cross-border cultural and sports industries, and embarked on a new journey of international event cooperation.

The event, themed “Forge Friendship and Build a Shared Future Through Martial Arts”, breaks the solemn format of traditional roadshows. It integrates elegant music, casual networking, industry announcements and strategic cooperation. It serves as a cultural rendezvous for mutual learning between civilizations, an investment forum for resource matching, and a launch ceremony for kickboxing events.

Melodious violin strains usher in the prelude of acquaintance; mellow, languid saxophone notes set the tone for exchanges; the house band plays with vibrant passion, stoking the zeal of solidarity. The three layers of sound unfold in succession. Guests may savour drinks and converse calmly in quiet moments, or share the joy of dancing hand in hand in lively ones. Ideas collide amid the melodies, and consensus takes shape as glasses are raised.

At the opening of the event, Shao Lin, President of Datang Lingyu Holdings, extended a warm welcome to all guests from near and far. He offered sincere greetings, looked back on the profound origins of China-Thailand cultural and sports exchanges, reviewed the solid foundation of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, outlined the long-term vision for China-Thailand cultural and sports investment, and discussed diverse cooperation avenues including kickboxing events, cultural and sports IPs, integrated cultural tourism, and industrial project implementation. Expressing his hope that this reception would serve as a link to build a bridge of mutual understanding, create a platform for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and rally strength for joint progress, he called for deeper cultural and sports exchanges, more tangible investment cooperation, and enduring friendly ties between the two sides.

The brief ceremony was solemn and well-organized. Every message carried expectations, and every speech forged consensus. Zhu Hongyi, Founder of Thailand MAX International Events Center, voiced Thailand’s aspirations and expressed a firm commitment to jointly explore the kickboxing sector. Wei Junwei, Chairman of the Referee Committee of ISKA Kickboxing International Federation, offered authoritative endorsement, pledging to safeguard event quality with the support of the international certification system. Liu Houzhi, Director of the Project Department at Datang Lingyu Holdings, elaborated on the Group’s industrial layout, detailing its three core segments: industrial investment, culture, sports and tourism, and international event operation, and extended an open invitation for cooperation. Xue Yaohui, Director of the Culture and Sports Department, unveiled the much-anticipated preparation plan for the 2027 “Battle of the Century”, highlighting the centerpiece outcome of the event and setting the course for China-Thailand kickboxing event cooperation. Champagne flutes were raised high, gold foil swirled in the air. A memorandum of understanding marked this mutual commitment, and fine wine was shared to toast enduring cooperation.

As the ceremony concluded, exchanges gained momentum. Guests wandered leisurely among the buffet tables, catching up, discussing projects and exploring cooperation. Information was shared in casual conversations, resources flowed through connections, and trust took root amid open and sincere communication. Soft lighting shifted and dance music drifted gently. Guests danced to the rhythm, transcending national boundaries and industry divides. Gracious manners conveyed goodwill, and poised demeanours embraced collaboration. When the house band struck up familiar tunes, the venue erupted in cheers as everyone sang and danced together. There were no distances or barriers, only the passion of working toward the same goal and the aspiration to forge ahead hand in hand.
